Kenneth (Ken) Manning has been involved with teens for more than
thirty years as a professional teacher. He is the parent of two teenage
boys. He pays attention to what teens like and writes books that
reflect their interests.
Manning
is a part-time photojournalist with the Vernon Morning Star newspaper
specializing mainly in action-sports photography and writing.
He is also a fulltime teacher of high school special-needs students.
He
has published numerous booklets on computer use for the Okanagan
University College, feature length articles, and photographic
essays for local media.
Manning conducts book signings, workshops on book design for adults
and workshops for teens on writing, editing, and publishing fiction.
He is a doctoral candidate in the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies program
at Gonzaga University.
